Technical guide

Industrial lubricant request checklist

What procurement and maintenance teams should provide before selecting a lubricant.

Use the equipment manual as the baseline

Record the required viscosity grade, performance class, OEM instruction and operating temperature from the equipment documentation.

Describe the current operation

Add duty cycle, contamination risks, drain interval, current product and any observed issue. Do not assume that similar viscosity means full compatibility.

Plan packaging and delivery

State monthly consumption, preferred pack size, destination and document requirements. This allows technical and export supply questions to be handled together.

Use project documents as the authority

This guide helps structure a review. Product suitability, numeric parameters, compatibility, approvals and commercial terms must be confirmed for the selected material and order.
